In telling people who VENUS was. She was one of a kind ,KING SHEPHERD, not just a dog but rather she was very much human in so many ways. VENUS was loving, caring, protective, funny and above all SHE WAS A LOYAL FAMILY MEMBER.
VENUS, treated our three cats Maxster, Toby, Smokey as they were her kids. Venus groomed Maxster to take over as we think she knew that her time was not far away.
Venus was our SNOOPERVISER when we were on the job sites together. VENUS loved the truck and she knew as soon as we were putting on our work boots she was right at the front door waiting to come along. People know that when your dog comes with you its really about LOVE, TRUST AND UNDERSTANDING.
No matter what type of day you had or the problems you ran into VENUS was always there for you. VENUS went for a long walk with us on the Golf Course on Feb 1st about 4.30 pm. The sun was shining, the way the light was hitting her she looked so majestic,she was chasing leaves. We found 18 golf balls that day. This made her so proud.
Venus was running and having a great time. We brought her home about 5.30 P.M and about 1 Hour later she started to wimper a liitle. We thought it was just soreness from running as she was almost 10 years old. Through the night she was seemingly ok. Then about 5.30 am on Feb 02. she came upstairs and fell sideways against the bedroom door. We stroked her head, told her we loved her and she took one breath looked at all of us and simply passed away in our arms.
REST EASY MY LOVE. WE MISS YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY. YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN. WE GIVE YOUR URN A KISS EVERYDAY AND PRAY FOR YOU.!!
GONE BUT NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN. NO ONE CAN EVER REPLACE YOU. NEVER.
